I just installed Ubuntu desktop 24.04. Before I was able to doubleclick a deb package. Now when clicking a deb package I am getting an error:
Could not display filename.deb ....

This seems to do the trick. After one day of testing it still looks good. Thanks a lot.

Which nvidia driver version are you using?
